What to do if You Lock Your Keys in the Car | New Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram & Used Car Dealer
Every driver dreads locking keys in a car, and the reality is, it does happen. What do you do when the keys are safe inside a locked car? Here are some options help avoid that situation and deal with it, should it happen to you.
Dial 911. Safety comes first, and if you don’t feel secure where you’re stranded, you should call 911 to get help on the way fast. In many cases, the police can unlock the car’s door. But if they can’t, they will probably call a tow truck, which will be on your tab, of course. But at least you’ll be safe.
Call for roadside assistance. Here’s when those annual auto-club fees really pay off. AAA, Allstate, and other organizations that provide roadside service will help you, though it could take a while for them to reach you. If you don’t subscribe to such a service, you might still be in luck. Most new cars come with roadside assistance during the basic warranty period. Your owner’s manual should have the details, but of course that’s locked in the car with the keys. The number to call might be posted on a window decal. If it isn’t, you can get the details by calling a dealership. To be prepared, you should store the number in your phone or write it down on paper and keep it in your wallet or purse. What if you don’t have a new car or you don’t belong to a service such as AAA? Ask about adding roadside assistance to your auto-insurance policy. Also, some major highways are patrolled by trucks offering emergency aid. Keep an eye out for one.
Call a tow truck. If you have no free options, most towing services provide lock-out service. Call 411 for services in your area. Or text the words “tow service” and your location to GOOGL (46645).
Get a temporary key. A dealer might be able to make you an inexpensive key that will open the doors (but not start your car) so that you can retrieve your permanent keys. You’ll probably need your vehicle identification number (visible through the lower edge of the driver’s-side windshield) and to prove that you own the car. Of course, you’ll also need a ride to the dealership.
Keep an extra key handy. Stash a spare key in your purse, your wallet, or a well-hidden spot on the car. You can buy a small magnetic box that can hold a key and be placed on a car’s underside. Or leave a spare with someone who could rescue you.
Buy a car with benefits. Some cars won’t lock with the power-lock button if the key is in the ignition and a door is open. Also, many vehicles from Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury have a door-mounted keypad that lets you tap in a code to unlock the door. If you drive a vehicle with a telematics system such as GM’s OnStar, Hyundai’s Blue Link, or Mercedes-Benz’s Mbrace, you can call a toll-free number to have your car remotely unlocked. Those systems also offer free apps that let smart-phone owners unlock the doors. Check automaker websites for compatible phones and specifics.
Keyless. If you have lost the key, things get more complicated. You’re going to need a locksmith, and while the ones we spoke with said they did do emergency road service, expect to pay about $200 and up for a replacement key. Keys for some higher-end models can cost several hundred dollars and can only be purchased and programmed through a dealer. And that means an expensive trip to the dealer on a flatbed.

5 Ways to save on Grass | New Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram and Used Car Dealership
1. Fill Up Middle of the Week
It is a well known fact that gas prices are at their highest on the weekends. This is common sense really…when do most people have time to go get gas? When do families head out for trips and gas up the family car? Rather than paying top dollar on the weekend for convenience, stop on a Wednesday instead and enjoy the savings.
2. Never Ride on Empty
Many people think this is an old wives tale but it is based in fact. Running a car on less gas than is optimal means the car has to work harder. This means that the car is not efficiently using the gasoline and pulling more than is needed to operate the car. (There is also that added inconvenience of potentially running out of gas) Rather than doing this to your car, fill up when you hit the half empty line. This will keep your car running optimally and your gas prices down.
3. Stick to Regular Fuel Unless You Own a High Performance Sports Car
Buying a high grade of gasoline is going to do very little for your family sedan. The old station wagon is not going to perform better or last longer by using high grade premium gasoline. What you will accomplish is paying way too much for your gas each week. This costs people a ton of money every single week and the truth is…it is money down the drain.
4. Do Trip Combos
This means sitting down and planning out your day beforehand. Each evening, sit down and figure out where you need to go and what you need the car for. Consider where everything is and how you can combine trips. Nothing stinks worse than to pass right by someplace and then get home and realize you needed to stop there. Plan ahead and work out trip combos to use less gas and save money.
5. Use an Online Gas Finder
These little websites are awesome! Simply put in your address and it will spit out the lowest prices and where they are located. There are also phone apps that can do the same thing if you are on the go. Find one you trust and that consistently gives you the right information and stick with it.

Dodge Ram SRT-10 Grabs Guinness World Record | New Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM & Used Car Dealer
Viper-powered Ram SRT-10 'World's Fastest Production Pickup Truck'
The Dodge Ram SRT-10
unleashed its Viper power today, taking its place in the Guinness Book of
World Records as the "World's Fastest Production Pickup Truck."Only recently off the Saltillo, Mexico, assembly line and not modified in any way for additional power or enhanced aerodynamics, the Dodge Ram SRT-10 posted a two-lap, both-directions average speed of 154.587 mph over a "flying kilometer" on the 4.71-mile oval at the DaimlerChrysler Proving Grounds here in Chelsea. The record run by the Dodge Ram SRT-10 was certified by Guinness World Records and the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). The previous record was 147.54 mph, set last July by the Ford SVT F-150 Lightning, before the Dodge Ram SRT-10 went into production.
"When we set out to develop the Dodge Ram SRT-10, our mission was to create the ultimate performance truck," said Dan Knott, Director, Street and Racing Technology. "With 500 horsepower, sports car-like handling, world- class braking and race-inspired design appointments, we know we reached our goal. Setting the Guinness record today simply confirms that, and solidifies the Ram SRT-10 as the ultimate -- and fastest -- performance pickup."
According to Guinness World Records rules, the record speed had to be the average of two one-kilometer runs in opposite directions along the same track, made within an hour of one another. The timing equipment had to be certified as accurate to within 1/1000th of a second, and supplied and operated by a qualified third party. The speed of each run was timed by means of sensors at the start and finish of the measured kilometer, thus giving an average speed over the full distance.
The Dodge Ram SRT-10 is the third Dodge vehicle branded with the Street and Racing Technology label, following the Dodge Viper SRT-10 -- the ultimate American sports car -- and the award-winning 230 horsepower Dodge SRT-4, that has taken the sport compact "tuner" crowd by storm. Behind the wheel of the Ram SRT-10 in the record-setting run was Brendan Gaughan, a six-time winner in a Dodge Ram in the 2003 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS). Gaughan makes his NASCAR Nextel Cup debut later this month at the Daytona 500 in the No. 77 Kodak Dodge.

New 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker and R/T Plus Shaker are available for ordering now, with the high-performance 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker model available for customer orders in March.
45 years of the Shaker hood
As the model name suggests, the legendary “cold-air grabbing” Shaker not only looks good with its Satin Black center-mounted hood scoop, snorkeling up from the engine compartment, it also directs cooler air back into the 5.7-liter, or now 6.4-liter (392 cu.in.), HEMI® V-8 engine. And, like the original 1970 Challenger R/T with the Shaker hood, the new 2015 Challenger models continue the Dodge tradition of an engine-mounted hood scoop that “shakes” with the powertrain’s movement.
Designed for muscle-car buffs who can’t help but tinker with their toys, the Challenger R/T Shaker, R/T Plus Shaker and 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker models feature a functional Shaker hood with Mopar cold-air intake, conical air filter and optimized air box for improved airflow and performance. Lift the hood and enthusiasts will also be treated to an under-hood “Shaker” graphic – reminiscent of the 1970s original.
Challenger R/T Shaker
For drivers who like to share their performance credentials, the new Challenger R/T Shaker adds a functional Shaker hood with cold-air induction and Mopar conical air filter to the Challenger R/T model’s 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine delivering up to 375 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque. In addition the package adds hood-to-tail Satin Black Shaker graphic stripes, Shaker hood badges, black deck-lid spoiler with Parkview backup camera, “Shaker” startup screen, Satin Black fuel-filler door with heritage “FUEL” lettering, projector fog lamps, 20-inch polished aluminum satin finish wheels with black pockets and premium black cloth performance seats with Ballistic 2 inserts and Tungsten accent stitching.
The new TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission is available (372 horsepower, 400 lb.-ft. of torque) and includes Sport mode with paddle shifters, plus Fuel Saver Technology with four-cylinder mode and interactive Decel Fuel Shut Off (iDFSO).
Super Track Pak

The new 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Plus Shaker model has a starting U.S. MSRP of $38,495.
Challenger 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker
As the “King of all Shakers,” the 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker ups-the-ante with its best-in-class 485 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque, delivering up to 113 more horsepower and a 65-lb.-ft. leap in torque compared with the 5.7-liter Challenger R/T Shaker models — representing more than a 30 percent jump in horsepower and 18 percent jump in torque. The coupe’s best-in-class power enables it to turn mid 4-second 0-60 mph times and low 12-second quarter mile times.
Adding to the standard equipment found on the Dodge Challenger R/T Plus Shaker, the first-ever 2015 Challenger 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker includes a 6.4-liter (392 cu.in.) MSRP for the Scat Pack Appearance Group is $1,100.

Dodge continues to build on the Scat Pack legacy
In 1968, Dodge united the brand’s performance vehicle enthusiasts through the creation of the “Scat Pack Club.” The Scat Pack Club quickly transformed and expanded from an enthusiast club, into an over-arching Dodge performance philosophy. This shared philosophy ultimately evolved into the desire for even more performance. Dodge and Mopar brands partnered to respect this need by delivering factory-engineered performance stage kits that would ultimately become known as “Scat Packs.”
For the 2015 model year, the all-new 2015 Challenger R/T Scat Pack and 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker models were created to deliver even more performance to the Dodge lineup. With a best-in-class 485 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque, track-ready performance features, heritage styling and the availability of the class-exclusive TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission – these two Challenger models are targeted directly at hardcore Dodge enthusiasts.

MAMA is a nonprofit group of more than 200 automotive journalists and industry professionals who developed the award to help consumers make a wise purchase decision when it is time to shop for a family vehicle.
“We are delighted that the new Chrysler 200 has been chosen ‘Family Vehicle of the Year’ by the Midwest Automotive Media Association, whose members evaluate dozens of new vehicles throughout the year,” said Al Gardner – President and CEO, Chrysler Brand – FCA US LLC. “The 2015 Chrysler 200 was developed to be the benchmark for mid-size sedans with a timeless, elegant design; clever functionality; a standard nine-speed automatic transmission; a class-leading available all-wheel-drive system; 60 safety and security features and a host of new technology drivers and passengers will value. It is a sedan that drivers will be proud to own, at a value they will appreciate.”
To qualify for the award, vehicles must have four doors, have a starting U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of less than $50,000, appear at one of MAMA’s two annual rallies and be new or significantly updated within one year of the 2014 Spring Rally, which took place last May. The MAMA spring and fall rallies feature up to 100 manufacturer’s vehicles for journalists to drive and evaluate.
“We know how important it is, and how difficult it can be, to pick the right family car,” said Patrick Olsen, MAMA President. “This award helps give consumers a chance to see the car that nearly a hundred automotive journalists –many with families themselves -- selected as the best choice for families in 2015.”
A total of 99 journalists voted the 2015 Chrysler 200 the winner, awarding it 79 points. The second place vehicle finished with 73 points and the third place vehicle was awarded 68 points.

America’s Most Off-road Capable Pickup, 2015 Ram Power Wagon Named Four Wheeler 'Pickup Truck of the Year'
- 2015 Ram Power Wagon beats the competition in a series of in-depth on- and off-road tests
- 2015 Ram Power Wagon is the most off-road-capable pickup truck with electric-locking front and rear differentials, electronic disconnecting sway bar, Bilstein shocks, 33-inch off-road tires, underbody skid plate protection, 4.10 axle ratio and a custom-built Warn® 12,000-pound winch
- Power Wagon now available in three distinct trim models—Tradesman, SLT and Laramie
March 2, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - The editors of Four Wheeler have named the Ram Power Wagon “2015 Pickup Truck of the Year.”
“Factory-built and engineered, our Power Wagon is, by far, the most capable off-road pickup available in production,” said Bob Hegbloom, President and CEO of Ram Truck Brand — FCA US LLC. “The Four Wheeler magazine staff is loaded with off-road expertise. We’re honored that they have again named the Ram Power Wagon with their Pickup Truck of the Year award.”
To qualify for the competition, a vehicle must have been entirely new or have substantial mechanical revisions from a previous model year. The award winning Ram Power Wagon features a 6.4-liter HEMI with best-in-class 410 horsepower and 428 lb.-ft. of torque. A class-exclusive 5-link rear suspension system was added and the front suspension is uniquely modified with Ram’s “Articulink” to allow additional axle flex and traction.
“The 2015 Ram Power Wagon is simply everything you want a real pickup to be,” said Christian Hazel, Editor of Four Wheeler. “Plenty of power and load-carrying capability for hauling and towing, well-appointed interior comfort and convenience features, great on-road ride and handling, and jaw-dropping capability in virtually any off-road terrain. The Ram Power Wagon didn’t just win Four Wheeler’s 2015 Pickup Truck of the Year, it blew the competition away.”
The 2015 Ram Power Wagon is based on the Ram 2500 Heavy Duty 4x4 Crew Cab, but features a number of off-road-specific engineering enhancements, which give the truck a significant advantage over all production pickups.
Vehicles participating in the annual Four Wheeler Pickup Truck of the Year competition were subjected to a week of rigorous testing in five key areas: Trail Performance, Empirical Data, On-Pavement Performance, Interior, and Exterior. Visit FourWheeler.com to learn more about the 2015 Four Wheeler Pickup Truck of the Year competition.
POWERTRAIN
Compelling numbers tell the best-in-class story of the standard 6.4-liter HEMI 16-valve V-8 engine: 410 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and a peak torque rating of 429 lb.-ft. (582 N•m) at 4,000 rpm. The engine calibration is unique to Power Wagon in order to enhance its off-road maneuverability and finesse. When driving in four-wheel-drive "Low," the throttle response softens and the idle speed increases by 100 rpm (from 650 to 750 rpm) — providing added control when ascending and descending off-road obstacles at slow speeds.
The 2015 Ram Power Wagon is equipped with Fuel Saver technology, delivering more power yet better fuel efficiency than previous generations. When conditions allow, as in highway cruising, the Fuel Saver system seamlessly shuts down four cylinders to conserve fuel.
The engine also features an active dual-runner-length intake manifold optimized specifically for the Ram Heavy Duty lineup. The result is improved low-end torque without sacrificing high-end power.
The 6.4-liter HEMI is offered with the 66RFE six-speed automatic transmission and connects to a part-time, manual-engagement BorgWarner BW 44-47 transfer case.
Built by American Axle Manufacturing, the axles measure 9.25 inches in the front and 11.5 inches in the rear (increase from 10.5 inches), delivering power via a 4.10:1 ring and pinion ratio. Robust rear axle shafts are upgraded to 38 mm, providing rotating force directly to the 33-inch tire/wheel combination. Both axles include electronic locking differentials driven by electro-magnetic actuators. All Ram Heavy Duty trucks incorporate a segment-exclusive front axle disconnect system to reduce parasitic loss and improve overall efficiency.
Additional axle data:
FRONT REAR
9.25 AAM 11.5 AAM
Front Pinion: 98.3 mm Rear Pinion: 121.3 mm
Front Ring Gear: 235 mm (9.25 inches) Rear Ring Gear: 292 mm (11.5 inches)
Front Axle Shaft Diameter: 35 mm Rear Axle Shaft Diameter: 38 mm
SUSPENSION
The Ram Heavy Duty features a unique suspension system, some of which was specifically engineered for the Power Wagon, including Bilstein shocks at all four corners, control arms, spring rates and more than two inches of lift.
In the front, the entire Ram Heavy Duty line features an advanced three-link front suspension to ensure roll stiffness. The Ram Power Wagon packages a unique-to-model design of the standard three-link suspension system. The Ram Articulink design incorporates high movement joints at the control-arm-to-axle mount, allowing for additional flexibility and axle articulation. Additional suspension flex is achieved via the class-exclusive electronic disconnecting sway bar, which allows the front axle to move more independently of the truck’s frame.
Heavy Duty trucks generally have rear suspension equipped for constant, heavy payloads. This usually leads to a harsher ride when unloaded. All Ram 2500 Heavy Duty trucks, including the Power Wagon, feature an exclusive five-link coil design provides better articulation over obstacles than a leaf spring system. The robust coil springs are more than up to the task of handling heavy payloads. Although the 2015 Ram Power Wagon is loaded with off-road components, owners appreciate payload up to 1,490 pounds and towing capacity up to 10,810 pounds.
The 2015 Ram Power Wagon's combined axle and suspension package adds to greater suspension articulation, a determining factor when negotiating extreme obstacles. With Smart Bar engaged, the Ram Power Wagon reaches a Ramp Travel Index (RTI - a measurement of a vehicle's suspension articulation) of 510 (26-inch vertical height).
GROUND CLEARANCE AND PROTECTION
Providing optimal balance between on-road civility and off-road capability are 33-inch tires, which feature a beefy tread pattern to help grab ledges along the trail and deliver optimum traction through sand, mud and snow. Larger tires and a suspension lift contribute to the Power Wagon’s 14.5-inch ground clearance, compared to 12 inches on the Ram 2500 Heavy Duty. The truck’s approach angle is boosted to 34 degrees, the departure angle is increased to 23.5 degrees and the breakover angle is enhanced to 25.5 degrees. This gives the Ram Power Wagon significant clearance for navigating a variety of severe inclines and declines as well as providing up to 30-inches of water-fording capability.
Underneath the Ram Power Wagon are generous underbody protection components. Fore-aft bars bring together the transfer case and fuel tank skid plates, resulting in armor that minimizes underside damage and rock wedging.
Ultimate truck capability is now available in three trim levels: Tradesman, SLT and Laramie. The Ram Power Wagon Tradesman offers off-road enthusiasts all of the Power Wagon’s legendary capability in a value-oriented package. The Power Wagon SLT provides a mix of comfort with off-road components and the Power Wagon Laramie offers more comfort and luxury features. Each of the three Ram Power Wagon models has its own distinctive look.
The Power Wagon nameplate was produced from 1945 through 1980. Early trucks were based on the Weapons Carrier (WC) series of Dodge ¾-ton military-use trucks built during World War II. The Power Wagon went on to become a well-known civilian vehicle and continued the lineage of Dodge four-wheel-drive trucks from the 1930s, proving basic four-wheel-drive design concepts and representing a significant predecessor to the many four-wheel-drive trucks in modern use today. The iconic truck was reintroduced in 2005 and now exists as an independent model under Ram Truck Brand.

Blake Anderson drives an over-the-top patriotic Jeep | Tacoma Dodge Chrysler Jeep
Anderson described his ride as "an American Jeep" in an interview with Conan O'Brien, and he didn't mean that it was from the AMC years of the off-road brand's ownership. Instead, this one is as patriotic as they come thanks to a beautifully regal bald eagle covering the hood with the nation's flag as the background running up at least to the windshield. Hear Anderson's entire story of buying this red, white and blue off-roader in the video above.

What to look for in a Car for your Teen Driver | Tacoma Dodge Chrysler Jeep
If you ask any teenager what they are looking forward to doing the most as they get older, at the top of most lists is probably being able to drive. After all, being licensed to drive gives teens a great sense of freedom – they can now come and go as they please; they are no longer dependent on mom and dad to get them where they need to go.
However, the time when teens begin to drive can potentially be the most deadly. Every dayseven teens ages 16 to 19 die from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash. And the crash rate is 3.7 times higher for 16 year old drivers compared to drivers all of all ages, and 2.7 higher for drivers aged 16 to 19.
For parents that are conducting a used cars search for appropriate vehicle options for their teen drivers, how can they help them stay as safe as possible? Here’s a look at five in-car options to look for during their used cars search.
Side Airbags
Although everybody knows about airbags as a safety component in vehicles, some may not realize the importance of side airbags. A study conducted in 2006 conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety found side airbags that protected driver’s heads helped reduce deaths in cars that were hit on the driver side by about 37 percent.Electronic Stability Control
ESC works through speed sensors that are placed on all wheels and the steering wheel to help drivers when on roads that are slippery or very curved. If the ESC system notices the vehicle is about to go in an opposite direction from where the steering wheel is pointed, is will break the necessary wheels to help keep the car under control. ESC can be found vehicles from 2012, and even earlier.
Crash Avoidance Technology
Over the past few years, vehicle manufacturers have unveiled
a crop of new applications to help drivers avoid car accidents. These crash
avoidance technologies work by providing the driver with warnings, or in
some instances even automatically putting on the brakes. Examples of these
technologies to look for in a used cars search include blind spot detection,
adaptive headlights, lane departure warning, and front crash prevention.
Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS)
An ABS is another safeguard
against slippery roads, as well as inexperienced young drives that may find
themselves “panic braking” in certain situations. The ABS helps ensure the
brakes on a car do not lock up, which could cause a driver to lose control of
the vehicle. ABS on the rear wheels allows the vehicle to keep moving in a
straight line, while ABS on all wheels allows the driver to maintain steering
capabilities.
Seat Belt Reminder System
Although the “ding, ding, ding” that
reminds you to buckle up every time you’re in the car can be rather annoying,
studies show they do save lives. For instance, a study published in 2008
found 97.5 percent of passengers put on a seat belt when in a vehicle with a
reminder system, while only about 86 percent did in cars without a reminder.
And teens need all the reminders they can — a 2002 study found that only 69
percent of teens ages 16 to 24 wear their seat belts, and more than two-thirds
of teens killed in car crashes were not wearing seat belts.

Owning a Used Car: How Much Can You Expect to Pay Each Month? | Tacoma Dodge Chrysler Jeep
If you are tempted to cut corners on
the purchase of your next used vehicle to save money, you may want to
reconsider. Even though you can often find deals to save money up front, it
usually comes back to bite you.
Simply put, getting a good deal on a used car spans beyond the purchase price. You also must consider the little things that accompany the monthly payment such as insurance, gas, maintenance and repairs. This may seem like a lot to afford, but it doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t be able to afford the used car of your dreams.
The costs of owning your ride is decreasing as time goes on. On average, the monthly operating and ownership costs associated with owning a sedan is $739.67 (or $8,876 per year), according to a recent report released by AAA. Operating costs include gas, maintenance and tires whereas ownership costs include full-coverage insurance, license, registration, taxes, depreciation and finance charges.
Here’s a detailed breakdown of their findings by vehicle type, based on a 15,000 annual mileage:

If you are blown away by these figures, don’t start worrying yet. Here are some things to consider when shopping that can help you save later on down the line:
Gas
Wouldn’t it be grand if all cars
could run off of oxygen? Unfortunately, cars need gas, and gas is expensive.
Even hybrids require gas to function. Bummer.
So, when you’re shopping, you’ll need to pay attention to the fuel economy ratings, both on the highway and in the city. Put this expense into your car budget, and see how often you can afford to fill your tank. Even though you can’t control gas prices, you can control how much you spend to fill up your tank each week.

Maintenance
Extended warranties are great, but
they typically only cover major repairs. That means you’re on your own with the
day-to-day maintenance. It’s probably not a good idea to pick out the shiniest
model on the lot without first taking a moment to figure out the anticipated
maintenance costs.
Generally speaking, the older the
model and the higher the mileage, the more costly the maintenance. You also
might want to get the maintenance records to see if the vehicle was properly
cared for by its prior owner.
Tires
Don’t forget to take a peek at the
tires. If they are extremely worn, they will need to be replaced, which can set
you back hundreds of dollars out the gate.
Insurance
Besides the cost of the monthly
payment, car insurance is a top expense for your car. Unfortunately, it’s
illegal not to carry coverage if you live in any state except for New
Hampshire, so insurance is an expense you can’t avoid. But, the year, make and
model of your car can affect the cost of your insurance.
Depreciation
Unless you seriously intend to drive
the vehicle until the wheels fall off, you’ll want to purchase something that
holds value. Otherwise, be prepared to fork over the difference between the
sales price and what you owe when you want to sell or trade it in for a new set
of wheels. Don’t let bargains on the purchase price fool you. Before putting any
money down, look at the current asking price compared to older models to gain
some insight on depreciation. And, steer clear of rebuilt or salvaged vehicles
if you intend to earn any equity in your vehicle.
Bottom line, there is more to owning a car than just the car payments. You need to set a budget that includes all of the costs so you can see what you can reasonably afford.
